About Thread Lifting
Want to look younger without the expensive surgery? Thread lifts (also known as thread facelifts) are minimally invasive facelifts that utilize suspension sutures to lift skin—typically around the eyes and cheekbones. It’s a minimally invasive procedure where your provider puts fibers under your skin to pull it back. They’re less expensive than plastic surgery and there is little to no down time.

Frequently Asked Questions
What happens during a thread lift procedure?
Your provider will use a thin needle, or cannula, to insert various threads under your skin. The thread lift procedure takes about an hour.
How long do thread lifts last?
Results from thread lifting can last 1-3 years.
Is a thread lift painful?
Before your thread lift procedure, the area will be numbed so you don’t feel any pain. You may experience some pain, discomfort and soreness for several days. You can take an over-the-counter or prescription pain reliever for several days until the discomfort goes away.
How long is the recovery time?
After a thread lift, you may experience some swelling and bruising for up to five days. We recommend waiting two weeks before performing any rigorous activities.
What complications can occur?
Thread lifting complications are uncommon, but let your provider know if you experience an allergic reaction, bleeding, infection, pulling or lumpiness.
